About

From Claremont, CA.

Before I was a Director of Econometrics with BlissPoint Media, I was a passionate undergraduate at Pitzer College. Although I had incredible professors, I struggled to find access to economics that felt like it applied to life and could employ me.

In this search for economic meaning I became a PhD Student in Applied Microeconomics at Claremont Graduate University. I fell in love with the idea that we could apply economic theory and modeling to real life data. I was able to extend this love to solving real world public good problems with University of Virginia’s Biocomplexity Institute. After that experience, I devoted my dissertation to causal inference and its applications to messy and exciting data.

While finishing my dissertation I was blessed with the opportunity to lecture at my alma mater, Pitzer College. I taught Sports Economics and spent two semesters focusing on helping students connect complex economic theory to their experiences with sports. My teaching philosophy is that nothing is important unless it can be applied.

I am now turning my focus to causal inference in marketing and sharing my insights with marketers, researchers, and students.
